The iPhone 4S is the latest mobile phone by Apple. The phone runs on A5 chip which has a dual core processor clocked at 1 GHZ, which is the same processor as in iPad 2, and a 512 MB RAM. The dual core 1 GHZ processor helps run almost any application available in the App Store and multi tasking has never been better. The phone also renders amazing graphics and takes game play to a new level and the retina display enhances this experience multifold. The camera has been upgraded to 8 Megapixels from the previous 5 Megapixels, with LED flash. The size of the aperture has been increased to allow more light to pass through and a fifth lens has been added to give sharper colors. Picture editing options like Red Eye Reduction, Auto Enhance and Cropping have been added so you can edit your pictures right after you click them, right in your phone itself. The camera also captures HD video at 1080p at 30 frames per second and the new software along with the gyroscope helps in stabilizing the video as you capture. The camera application can now be accessed right from the lock screen by double tapping the home button and you can click pictures and capture videos by using the volume up button.

This new iPhone comes with iOS 5 which is considered to be the latest and the most advanced mobile operating system. It has a lot of new features and improved old ones too. iMessage, Notification Bar, Reminders, Twitter integration, Over the Air Updates, Air Play and iCloud are a few of the new features. Mail has been inproved and now has formatting features.

The highlight of the iPhone 4S is Siri which is the voice activated Artificial Intelligence for the phone. Siri is considered as a revolutionary breakthrough in mobile technology. One can just talk to Siri as if speaking to another person. A lot of phones can recognize the words you say, but Siri has the ability to understand the words you speak, understand what you mean and can act on it. It can perform tasks based on your voice commands. You can dictate emails and text messages; add reminders and calendar events and do a lot more by just talking to your iPhone.

The iPhone 4S comes in three variants based on their storage capacity. They are 16 GB, 32 GB and the new 64 GB.
