The 7^th of October 2011 marked a great milestone for Apple. It was the Apple launched one of their best products ever, the iPhone 4S. This new iPhone redefined mobile technology. Though it looks exactly like its predecessor, iPhone 4, this phone runs on A5 chip which is 1 GHz dual core with a 512 MB RAM. It renders excellent graphic and enhances game play to new heights and can run any application in the app store and multi tasking is much more efficient. The camera is now 8 megapixels with the same LED flash but with increased aperture size for allowing more exposure and an added lens for getting sharper colors. It records high definition videos at 1080p (at 30 frames per second) and the software with the gyroscope captures stabilized videos. There is also the on phone editing features like crop, auto enhance and red eye reduction. Now you can access the camera application right from the lock screen by just double tapping the home button and you can capture images and videos by using the volume up button.

This new iPhone has an enticing and amazing new feature called Siri. Siri is supposed to be the voice enabled Artificial Intelligence of this iPhone. Tap and hold the home button for about two seconds and Siri responds by saying “How can I help you?” and you can start your conversation with Siri. When most phones can respond to you by recognizing the words you say, Siri can understand them and act on it. It can even accomplish tasks for you like reading a message, sending an email or a text, doing a search, updating you on the weather, adding and editing calendar events, adding reminders which are location specific too and a lot more.

The iPhone 4S comes with iOS 5. iOS 5 is the latest and the most advanced operating system by apple and it has over 200 new – improved features compared to its previous versions. Notifications Center, Twitter integration, iMessage, Reminders, Newsstand, iCloud, new Game Center, Photo Stream, Wireless Sync to iTunes, on device activation and a lot more.

When iPhone 4 was launched, people wondered if there could ever be a phone that could be better than it (iPhone 4), but Apple managed to do that too proving that they are the only ones who can out do themselves.

The iPhone 4S is available in three storage capacities; 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB in both black and white colors.
