The iPhone 4S is the latest model in the iPhone variants by Apple
which was launched in the month of October 2011. The new mobile phone
has the same A5 chip that is in iPad 2 which is dual cored processor and
runs at 1 GHZ. Thanks to this processor, the game played in the iPhone
4S is brilliant which is further enhanced by the retina display. It
runs almost any application on the Application Store. The camera’s pixel size
has been increased from 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels with LED flash,
along with the increased aperture size for allowing more light to pass
through and an added lens for sharp capture of colors. It records
video in HD at 1080p at 30 frames per second. The gyroscope and the
new software help stabilize video as you capture them. There is also
the new editing features like Cropping, Auto Enhance and Red Eye
Reduction which allow you to edit photos right on your phone after you
capture them. You can now access the camera application right from the
lock screen and capture pictures using the volume up button.
The biggest buzz about this phone is Siri. Siri is the iPhone 4S’s
Artificial Intelligence. It is voice interactive and can be accessed
by long pressing the home button. While a lot of phones can recognize
the words spoken, Siri has the ability to recognize the words and
understand what you mean and perform tasks based on it. You can add
reminders or new calendar events, send an email or text message,
enquire about weather or do a search and a lot more by just talking to
your iPhone 4S. When asked to Siri, “who are you?” Siri responds by
saying, I’m a humble assistant.
The iPhone 4S comes with iOS 5 which is the new; improved and the most
advanced operating system by Apple. It has a lot of notable new
features like the iMessage, Reminders, Newsstand, iCloud, Notification
Bar, Twitter Integration, Over the Air Updates and many more.
Improvements have been made in previous apps like Mail which helps you
format text using bold, italic, or underlined fonts; Game Center which
now lets you add photos to your account, compare your achievements
with friends and recommends new games and friends; and more.
The iPhone 4S is available in three different storage capacities such
as the 16 GB, 32 GB and the new 64 GB!
